Our underwood heating mats, also known as under laminate heating mats are produced as pre-assembled installation mats, with sizes of 1m2 to 24m2 and incredibly thin at only 2mm. The under wood heating mats are 500mm wide and are fully earth screened utilising a super thin aluminium foil covering, this makes installation in wet areas such as bathrooms & kitchens possible, in full compliance with electrical & building regulations, they have a power output rated at 140w per square meter, underwood heating mats are suitable for most rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, conservatories, extensions, etc.
A significant advantage of our under wood heating mats is the way the they can be cut and turned to fit nearly any shape or size, no longer needing expensive carbon film underfloor heating systems that need to have a bespoke design before ordering. Our under wood heating is suitable in wet areas unlike carbon film systems. Under laminate heating is healthy and eco freindly.
When installing our under wood floor heating mats it is vital that the mats are placed on our insulation boards before any floor is installed on top, this is not only to provide protection for the mats but also to stop the heat from travelling down into the subfloor, we always reccomend using our 10mm premium xps insulation wherever possible
Our under wood heating Kits contain a 230V teflon coated heating mat/s, the Aube TH132-F programmable digital thermostat as standard, we are offering a free upgrade to the new TR3100 remote control thermostat, which has the option to switch between Floor/Air/Floor + Air, complete with floor temperature probe, conduit + adhesive tapes.
Our mats are fully 17th edition compliant, this means they are suitable for use in bathrooms and other wet areas (providing electrical regs are followed) , alwats follow the installation manual provided
