Getting ready for the winter - heating tips
Once again the winter is on its way and the days getting shorter and temperatures are getting colder!
With underfloor heating you dont need to be concerned about breakdows in the winter as electric underfloor heating has no moving parts and rarely if ever breaks down. Also boilers and other plumbing systems are well known for breaking down in the winter months
Boilers need to be serviced to ensure they work at the times you need it. You will want to check your heating system for leaks and cold spots, and bleed all your radiators to ensure that they are free of trapped air. Also its a good idea to keep some spare funds in the bank to pay for Gas bills and repair costs.
When you install Underfloor heating in your home, you can forget about all this!
You can remove radiators that spoil your perfectly designed room, and you will also have a constantly warm floor that radiates heat evenly throughout your rooms.
With electric underfloor heating mats you won’t need your boiler to heat anything except your water, and as they use less energy they’ll save up to 30% on your heating costs.
Electric underfloor heating, as featured in Channel 4’s ‘The Home Show’ and the BBC’s ‘DIY SOS’, is easy to install and something that will bring you that added touch of luxury and save you money for many winters in the future.
